Mountain Top Arboretum is a public garden located in the Catskill Mountains in Tannersville, New York. It is dedicated to displaying and managing native plant communities of the northeastern United States and curating a collection of cold-hardy native and exotic trees. Situated at an elevation of 2,400 feet, it offers a unique environment for education, research, and enjoyment of the landscape. The arboretum features 200 acres of plant collections, meadows, wetlands, and forest, with trails and boardwalks for visitors interested in horticulture, birding, geology, hiking, and snowshoeing. It also hosts various events and programs for all ages, fostering environmental education.
