Liftt

LIFTT (Living Independently For Today and Tomorrow) is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization serving as a Center for Independent Living in Southeastern Montana. Governed by a consumer-controlled board, LIFTT empowers aging individuals and people with disabilities to live independently by providing education, support, and opportunities. Their services include information and referral, individual and systems change advocacy, peer programs, independent living skills training, and transition services for youth and those moving out of institutions. LIFTT works to reduce attitudinal, architectural, and communication barriers, combat discrimination, and promote resources and policies that enhance independence, economic opportunity, and quality of life for individuals with disabilities across 18 counties. They also engage in systemic advocacy at local, state, and national levels to improve the lives and legal rights of individuals with disabilities.
