Juneteenth is more than an event, it is an educational space to learn about Black and Brown heritage. For over half a decade, our youth have hosted this event to honor Juneteenth—the historic day of June 19th, 1865, when the last enslaved people in the U.S. learned of their freedom. By taking the lead in this celebration of liberation and resilience, Our Voices continues to build a legacy of community strength, cultural education, and Black excellence right here in our own community.
Bring your friends, family, and neighbors. Let’s unite together and celebrate freedom.
