Rod & Reel: Fishing & Tackle Loaner Program

**Combined Description:**

Presque Isle State Park offers two exciting outdoor activities for visitors: the Rod & Reel Fishing & Tackle Loaner Program and Lagoon by Pontoon rides. The Rod & Reel program, running from May 1 to September 30, provides free fishing rods, reels, and tackle boxes for loan from the Tom Ridge Environmental Center. Participants can borrow equipment on a first-come, first-served basis, using it only within the park. A valid ID is required from at least one adult, and fishing regulations must be adhered to. Additionally, anglers aged 16 and older must possess a Pennsylvania Fishing License, and permits may be needed depending on the fishing location within the park.

In parallel, the Lagoon by Pontoon offers scheduled boat rides at 8:45 AM, 10:15 AM, and 11:45 AM, with sign-ups occurring 15 minutes before each ride. Capacity is limited to 16 participants, and children under 12 must wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD).
