Details:
Join us for an unforgettable three-day, two-night trip on the Greater Allegheny Passage connecting two iconic Pennsylvania State Parks. As a featured part of DCNR’s America 250th programming, this historically themed expedition invites you to pedal through time, tracing the heritage of the region from the roaring falls of Ohiopyle to the iconic fountain at Pittsburgh’s Point State Park. We will stick together as a group and overnight at two of the rustic GAP biker campgrounds. We will provide support by providing a gear shuttle and food deliver throughout the trip. Lunch will be on your own, so there will be time to explore two trail towns along the way. Don’t miss this chance to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday on 2 wheels! We’ve handled the logistics so you can focus on the journey! Your registration includes: 2 nights at rustic campsites along the GAP 2 breakfasts and 2 dinners Ticket to Ruins Mosaic Site Rivers of Steel Pumphouse Tour Guided interpretive programming Safety & bike support Shuttling of your gear directly to the biker campgrounds each day Shuttle from Pittsburgh at the end of the trip back to Ohiopyle Minimum age for registration is 16 years old, and this program is designed for people that are regular bike riders that are comfortable biking about 76 miles.
