Join us at the Staunton Amtrak station to see the legendary N&W 611 Steam Engine on display—an opportunity for great photos and excitement for the upcoming ticketed train rides. Free public display events will occur at both the Staunton and Louisa depots, where you can see the 611 up close, meet the steam operations crew, tour vintage passenger cars, and purchase excursion tickets. The upcoming train rides will depart from Staunton on June 12-14 and June 19-21, offering a 40-mile round-trip journey through stunning scenery, including the Blue Ridge Tunnel. Admission is free and open to the public at the display events.
