The Lake County Library System (LCLS) is a dynamic cooperative network providing enriching library services to Lake County, Florida, through 16 branches. Founded in 1982, it unites 10 independent libraries and 6 county-operated branches to foster lifelong learning and community engagement. LCLS offers over 682,000 physical items, e-books, online databases, mobile printing, interlibrary loans, and vital programs like "1,000 Books Before Kindergarten" and "ACCESS Florida" assistance. Governed by the Lake County Board of County Commissioners, LCLS ensures equitable access to educational resources for all residents.
