Paint Out!

Join us for a plein air "paint out" at Wellfield Botanic Gardens in Elkhart, Indiana, where you can immerse yourself in 36 acres of stunning botanical beauty. This event serves as an opportunity to explore the site for potential future gatherings. Wellfield features a unique combination of manicured gardens, natural spaces, and striking water elements, offering diverse subject matter including the serene Japanese-inspired Island Garden, the vibrant Quilt Garden, scenic waterfalls, and captivating sculptures. The garden, surrounded by water, provides excellent chances for studying reflections and light. A well-maintained 1/2-mile Promenade path connects over 20 different gardens and is ADA-friendly, making gear transport easy. Expect to engage with fellow visitors who may stop to chat or observe your work, embodying the community spirit of a "paint out!"
