SYNOPSIS:
Troy Maxson, a former star of the Negro baseball leagues, now works as a garbage man in 1957 Pittsburgh. Excluded from the major leagues in his prime, Troy has grown increasingly bitter, and his anger and frustration take a toll on his relationships with his wife and son.
Winner of the Pulitzer Prize for Drama, Fences has also won Tonys for Best Play, Best Actor, and Best Actress TWICE: once in 1987 and again for the revival in 2010!
Fences is a modern classic and a moving study of the human condition.
