Film: Georgia O’Keeffe: The Brightness of Light

The film also examines the provocative nude photographs taken by her lover, Alfred Stieglitz, which contributed to the sexual interpretation of her artwork. In the 1970s, while living in isolation in the New Mexico desert, O’Keeffe became a powerful role model for second-wave feminists. Directed by Academy Award-winner Paul Wagner, the documentary features music by Emilie Levienaise-Farrouch, narration by Hugh Dancy, and Claire Danes voicing O’Keeffe.
