Dokken emerged from the vibrant hard rock and heavy metal scene of Los Angeles in the early 1980s, establishing themselves as a leading creative and commercial force in Melodic Hard Rock. Their breakthrough album "Breaking the Chains" in 1983 featured the iconic title track and paved the way for a series of successful releases, including multi-Platinum albums "Tooth and Nail," "Under Lock and Key," and "Back for the Attack." The live album "Beast from the East" achieved gold status in Europe and Japan. Renowned songs such as "Alone Again," "Just Got Lucky," "Into the Fire," and "Dream Warriors" remain classics in the genre. Over the years, Dokken has shared the stage with major acts like AC/DC, Metallica, and Bon Jovi, reaching stadium status in 1988 by performing for over a million fans in just five weeks. The current lineup features Don Dokken on vocals, Mick Brown on drums, Jon Levin on guitar, and Chris McCarvill on bass.
