Details:
Join us for "A Birding Year at Moose Hill," an immersive monthly series at Moose Hill Wildlife Sanctuary tailored for adults passionate about birds. Each session focuses on seasonal birding topics, from September's fall migration and October's raptors to November's winter flocking, and extends through the year with themes like woodpeckers, warblers, and bird nests. Sessions commence indoors, followed by approximately two hours of active birding across the sanctuary's diverse habitats, regardless of weather. Participants will enhance their field skills, engage with fellow birders, and learn about ongoing bird conservation efforts. Bring binoculars if available, dress appropriately for the weather, and park in the main lot; restrooms and a water bottle filling station are on site.
