Innisfree-Inspired Japanese Calligraphy Workshop

Discover the art of Japanese calligraphy (shodō) , where brush, ink, and breath come together in a meditative creative practice. In this hands-on workshop, led by members of the Mid-Hudson Japanese Community Association on Innisfree’s scenic overlook, participants will be introduced to the basic techniques of traditional calligraphy while exploring how movement, balance, and empty space give written characters their expressive power.
