Use nets to collect tadpoles, snails, and aquatic insects, observe them under microscopes, and discover how scientists use biodiversity to measure a pond’s health. What to ExpectAdult Participation Required: A parent or guardian must attend and participate with each child for the entire program. Meeting Location: Please meet at the Grant Woods Forest Preserve - Monaville Road entrance and follow posted signs to the program site. Dress for the Outdoors: This is an outdoor, hands-on program. Participants should dress for the weather. Footwear: Closed-toe shoes or boots that can get wet and muddy are strongly recommended. For safety, no sandals or Crocs, please.
