Perennial Garden Tour

Enjoy a guided tour of the Sue B. Hart Perennial Garden led by Director of Gardens & Grounds Mark Gutzmer and Head Grower Ash Pierce.
Originally created between 1911 and 1914, the Perennial Garden underwent a major restoration in 2024, made possible through the generosity of Sue B. Hart.
The restoration expanded the garden with new native and pollinator-friendly plantings, rebuilt the pavilion and walkways, and ensured the long-term care of this beloved Elizabeth Park garden. Lisa Stamm-Booher and Vanessa Booher Parsons of Homestead Garden & Design Collaborative played a crucial role in the redesign of the garden.
