Brush up on your language skills at the World Languages Café (WLC)! This fun, educational gathering meets in person on the second Thursday of the month at HCLS Miller Branch Library.
Join the language table of your choice and practice speaking a world language with fellow community members hosted by a native speaker of that language who will facilitate conversation. Languages available include American Sign Language, Arabic, Chinese Mandarin, French, Japanese, Spanish and more.
The World Languages Café is free and no RSVP is required.
We are seeking volunteers who are native speakers or who are fluent in a world language to host and facilitate conversation at a table at the World Languages Cafe. If interested, please email Elianah.Slotnick@columbiaassociation.org. If you are interested in practicing a language that is currently not offered at this branch, please let us know!
