Open Maker Lab

Bring in a project to work on, show off your creations, use our laptop and design software, or simply visit to socialize and meet other makers. Certified Maker Lab members who have completed training on a specific machine may reserve 1-hour time slots to usethe Glowforge (laser) , Prusa (3D printer) , or one of our Cricut machines. Time slots are limited to 1 hour for the laser and cutting machines. Sewing machines will be available to Maker Lab members who have completed the sewing beginners classesand are comfortable using the machines on their own. Time slots are for 1 or 2 hours. Members are limited to one time slot reservation during open lab. Reserve your equipment by emailing: renate.cumming@newcastlede.gov Must be 13+ years old to use the Maker Lab.
