The Appoquinimink Community Library, serving the Middletown area for over 50 years, provides a wide range of services and activities for all age groups, from toddlers to seniors. Beyond its extensive collections of physical media like books, DVDs, and CDs, the library offers digital resources including e-books and audiobooks through the Delaware Division of Libraries. Patrons can utilize public Wi-Fi, 24 desktop computers, and specialized facilities such as a Maker Space, a video studio, and an audio studio. The library also hosts various programs and events, including book discussions, craft circles, and educational workshops, catering to diverse interests like arts, culture, health, and career development. The Friends of the Appoquinimink Library group actively supports the library through fundraising events, most notably an annual book sale held in conjunction with the Middletown Peach Festival.
