Historic House Tour

Join us for a captivating Historic House Tour at the Blackacre Historic Homestead, featuring the beautifully preserved Presley Tyler House, constructed in 1792. Explore this immersive experience from June 7 through August 9, where you’ll discover the rich history intertwined with the American Revolutionary War and early pioneer life. Guided by knowledgeable docents in authentic period attire, tours run every Sunday from 1:00 to 4:00 PM, with tours beginning every half hour. General admission is $10 per person, while children 12 and under and Cultural Pass Holders enjoy free admission for a one-time visit. A special Flag Day Celebration will take place on July 14, featuring members of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Sons of the American Revolution, requiring online registration.
