Our intent with this to educate and enlighten you regarding City programs and events—information that we believe will be helpful in your everyday lives. The City provides many public services, including police protection, public works (including street maintenance and construction), water and sewer, planning and zoning, building and permitting, neighborhood development, and parks and recreation. We also own and operate the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the Robert L. Taylor Recreation Center, and the Bobby Jones Golf Course.
