Details:
Join us for Volunteer Stewardship Day at Forrest Woods Nature Preserve, where you can make a real impact by helping to remove invasive shrubs and restore wildlife habitat. This volunteer opportunity involves cutting and treating non-native plants to enhance the ecosystem and prevent invasions into restored fields. Registration is required, and group registrations can be directed to our land steward at steward@blackswamp.org.
Meet us at the North Parking Lot and come prepared for the weather with a refillable water bottle. We will provide gloves and tools for your work. You can participate in either or both sessions:
- Session 1: 9:30 AM – 12:30 PM
- Session 2: 1:00 PM – 3:30 PM
Please arrive at the start of your session for check-in. For more details or to view our upcoming stewardship days, visit our event calendar or contact Scarlet with any questions.
