Dig Into Reading Together Families READ

Join us for the "Dig Into Reading Together Families READ" event, a 5-week family literacy series presented by Austin Aspires at the Austin Public Library. Utilizing the Families READ Toolkit from the Minnesota Department of Education, this program aims to help caregivers and children, ages 0-9, cultivate joyful reading habits, enhance literacy skills, and engage through stories and hands-on activities. Participants will also learn effective ways to discuss stories to deepen children's understanding of what they read. The sessions will run on Tuesdays in June 2026, with two opportunities each day: from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM and 5:00 PM to 5:30 PM. This event is free for families!
