Located at 323 4th Ave. NE in Austin, Minnesota, the library serves the city and Mower County area, with approximately 30,000 residents. The current facility, opened in 1996, houses over 80,000 volumes and is a member of SELCO (Southeastern Libraries Cooperating). The library offers a variety of programs and services, including access to books, digital resources, and community events, aiming to provide knowledge, technology, and inspiration to its patrons. It also collaborates with community partners on initiatives like Austin Aspires to support youth education.
