Sensory-Friendly Zone for Children 4 to 12 years old

Feeling overwhelmed or overstimulated in our children's area? We’re here to help. Our downstairs auditorium will be open for sensory-friendly time from 3:30–4:30 PM on Tuesday afternoons. During this hour, children can explore a variety of sensory stations tailored to different needs and interests. Tools such as noise-cancelling headphones, fidget toys, and weighted items will be available for children ages 4–12. This program was developed in partnership with BPL’s Inclusive Services Department. No registration is required, but attendance is limited to a maximum of 12 participants. A parent or caregiver must accompany each child. Please note: The lift is currently unavailable at this time.
