Disability Empowerment Center provides Pre-Employment Transition
Services to youth in King County. Our fun, interactive and accessible
lessons are designed for students ages 14-22 with an IEP, 504 plan or any documented disability.
Our summer 2026 session will include:
Topics:
Getting a Job — Learn about job hunting, interviewing, arranging
accommodations and more
Financial Literacy — We’ll cover budgeting, saving and investing
Dates:
July 27, 29 & 31, from 10 a.m. – noon (Getting a Job)
Aug. 10, 12 & 14, from 10 a.m. – noon (Financial Literacy)
