On Everything WOOL SERIES hosted by Folk School Warroad! Explore the wonderful world of wool, a fiber known for its durability and beauty! In this 4 part unique opportunity, we will be immersed in a hands-on class working directly with freshly sheared sheep fleece and luxurious alpaca fleece. Allowing you to connect deeply with the fiber arts, blending traditional techniques with modern flair. 1. Skirting a raw fleece - Washing and drying 2. Dyeing wool 3. Carding and making batts 4. Creating a felted vessel Class will be on Mondays, beginning September 8th and continues for 4 weeks in a row. The class is led by experienced fiber artists Aliza Novacek-Olson and Carletta Mlodzik.
