Details:
Join us for Open Makerspace Hours, a welcoming community space for all ages to make, create, design, and build. During these sessions, you can work on independent projects with the assistance of Makerspace staff, utilizing equipment such as 3D printers, Cricut Machines, dye sublimation printing, laser engraving/cutting tools, and iPads with creative software. Registration is required—only one session per month per family—and participants must sign a Makerspace Waiver on their first visit and possess a library card in good standing. Youth under 9 must be accompanied by an adult, while those aged 10-12 need an adult in the building. Teens aged 13-17 can use the space independently with a signed waiver. Additionally, don’t miss the opportunity to create your own Laser Engraved Leather Mini Notebook. Learn how to design an image for engraving on the cover, with registration starting on the first of each month. This program promotes civic and social literacy through community engagement and enhances information literacy skills using digital technologies.
