In this class, students will be able to create their own working ferris wheelfrom popsiclesticks! Students can customize the design of their ferris wheel by giving their ferris wheel a theme or changing the shape of the center to a star, heart, or diamond. Second Tuesday of the month at 5pm. This class will give girls in grades 4th-8th Grade the opportunityto make their own lava lamp using household items and explore the concept of density. Girls will also be able to createand explore chemical reactions in their lava lamps. The Conestoga High School Girls in STEM club strives to offer opportunities to girls in science, technology, engineering, and math. We hope that through our lessons, girls will gain enjoyable experience alongside theirpeers in these areas and find encouragementto follow a passion for STEM.
