Join the Researching People of Jackson County, Oregon class hosted by the RVGS Library, which boasts a rich collection of resources compiled by dedicated volunteers since 1966. This class, guided by Anne Billeter, takes place from 10:30 AM to 3:00 PM, featuring an informative session from 10:30 AM to noon, followed by a practice session from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM. Attendees are encouraged to bring lunch, and a special tour of the SOHS Research Library will be conducted by the SOHS Archivist from 11 AM to noon on June 25 and again on June 30. Topics include the history of obituaries, cemeteries, and the availability of marriage and birth records, with much of this information searchable online at rvgslibrary.org. The class costs $10 for members, $20 for non-members, and is free for librarians from Jackson County libraries. Registration is required and closes at noon on June 21.
