Green Issaquah: Restoration Event at Park Pointe

Join the Issaquah Alps Trails Club and Green Issaquah for a monthly restoration event on the third Saturday, August 15th, 2025, from 9 AM to Noon at Park Pointe. Volunteers will focus on invasive species removal, specifically Himalayan blackberry bushes, to prepare for the upcoming fall planting. This initiative supports the Issaquah Climate Action Plan's target of achieving 55% tree canopy cover by 2035, ensuring the health and longevity of native plants. Participants should meet at the end of the dirt road at the trailhead, with parking available along SE Evans Street. Bring your own gloves, dress in layers with closed-toed shoes, and don’t forget snacks, water, and sunscreen.
