Details:
Join us for a *Wildflower Walk*, an easy guided exploration to identify local wildflower species led by expert Craig Martin. Craig will scout trails a week prior to choose the best blooming locations. Space is limited, so early registration is recommended.
Born in Philadelphia and a Los Alamos resident since 1987, Craig has a deep passion for the outdoors, nurtured from his youth. His diverse experience includes roles as a carpenter, naturalist for the Delaware State Parks and National Park Service, geology instructor, and freelance writer with over 300 publications to his name, including the four-volume set, *Plants of the Jemez Mountains*. With a history as the Open Space and Trails Specialist for Los Alamos and an extensive collection of over 16,000 iNaturalist observations, Craig brings invaluable knowledge to this event.
Details: Distance, elevation gain, and route type are to be determined. Please note: dogs are not allowed. Admission is free for PEEC Members and $5 for Non-Members.
