Join us for a unique special program, "Art in Focus," at the Hood Museum of Art on Friday, August 15, 2025, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM. This event is specifically designed for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease or other forms of dementia, along with their family members or care partners. Participants will engage in interactive dialogues about themes, artists, and exhibitions, guided by specially trained museum educators. The session will include an art-making activity, with all materials provided. Assistive listening devices will be available. The event is free of charge, but space is limited, and preregistration is required through our website. This program is part of the Hood Museum's 40th anniversary celebrations.
