Class Topics Include: Overview of diabetes, Healthy eating with a focus on meal planning, portion control, food and nutrient groups, restaurant eating, carbohydrate counting, and much more! Role of exercise in treatment, Medications available to treat diabetes, Blood glucose testing and monitoring, Ways to reduce risks for short and long-term complications, Problem solving and goal setting.
