Details:
Lucy is offering a two-hour course in what she calls Easy Encaustics, involving wax crayons, old magazine pages and a surprising source of heat popular in the seventies—a warming tray. Lucy can’t stop making these casual artworks and thinks others will also enjoy this unique way of hacking the encaustic process.
Whether you are a professional artist or a complete novice, this process can polish or engender certain creative skills including good composition, color choice, figure drawing, shape and line. But the greatest thing is the feeling you’ll get from years ago when you sat down with crayons; only this time you’ll be blown away with what you’re created!
