Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy (KNC)
WI-67 & Stark St, Williams Bay, WI 53191, USA
In 1989, motivated by citizen outcry against a proposed golf course, townhouse, condominium, and convention center complex, the Williams Bay Board of Trustees purchased the 231-acre site for preservation and established the Kishwauketoe Nature Conservancy. It realized that this area is the largest intact wetland remaining in the watershed of Geneva Lake and needed to be protected, preserved, and enhanced. All of our restoration work at KNC is accomplished by Volunteers, a small paid staff and supported 100% by donations. Please consider assisting us in anyway you can.
