Details:
Join us for "Beading Beauties," a monthly beadwork circle hosted by the Kittitas County Historical Museum in partnership with the Ellensburg School District's Ichiskíin Language and Native American Culture Program. Launching on Monday, October 27, and taking place every 4th Monday from 6–8 PM, this gathering celebrates the rich art, history, and creativity of beadwork tradition, deeply rooted in the Indigenous cultures of the Columbia Plateau, including the Yakama, Umatilla, Klickitat, Nez Perce, K’tɨ́taas, and Pshwánapam. Participants of all skill levels are encouraged to bring their own projects and supplies, share techniques, and enjoy a welcoming atmosphere of creativity and connection. Refreshments will be provided. Please note there will be no gathering in August. For any inquiries, contact the Museum at kchm@kchm.org.
