The Durango Arts Center (DAC) is a nonprofit organization in Durango, Colorado, dedicated to enriching the community through visual and performing arts and arts education. DAC serves as a cultural leader by advancing appreciation and participation in the arts. The center hosts over 80 community events annually, including exhibit receptions, theater performances, artist lectures, and film screenings. It also organizes the Durango Autumn Arts Festival, a large outdoor fine arts and craft showcase. DAC's programs engage over 500 artists each year and provide arts education to approximately 1,300 children and adults through workshops and camps. The theater presents professional and children's productions, and the galleries feature exhibits by local, regional, and national artists, often accompanied by educational programming. DAC also offers facility rentals for various events.
