Colorado: Beyond 150

Join us for two exciting events celebrating Colorado's 150th anniversary!

The "Colorado: Beyond 150" exhibition opens with a reception on Friday, July 3, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Art Bar. This juried exhibit showcases the creative visions of local artists imagining the next 150 years of Colorado history. Running from July 3 to August 15, 2026, the exhibit will be open Tuesday through Saturday, 12:00 to 6:00 PM, including on July 4. All artwork featured was created in 2026, offering fresh perspectives across various media.

Additionally, experience the CO150 Film Festival with a free screening of Stanley Kubrick's "The Shining." This marks the kickoff of an ambitious festival featuring 150 films that celebrate Colorado. Donations of $10 per person are encouraged to support the Durango Arts Center.
