Details:
Join a community of like-minded nature enthusiasts outdoors to observe, draw, and share! Nature journaling is the process of slowing down, observing, and recording those observations in a sketchbook, and it can become a practice that serves to connect you to the natural world in a meaningful way. Limited instruction will be provided but you don’t have to be an artist to get started! Program attendees are encouraged to bring their own journaling supplies. A limited number of sketchbooks and drawing materials are available (through a generous donation from Blick Art Materials) To reserve art supplies send an email to lshiber@bcls.lib.nj.us prior to the program. Instructors: Laura Shiber (Adult Services Librarian) and Gina DiMaio (Senior Park Naturalist). Audience: adults 18+. www.co.burlington.nj.us/calendar.aspx?EID=21920
