Details:
Join us for a delightful day filled with history and storytelling at our two featured events! First, take an insightful one-hour tour of the Ironmaster’s Mansion, built in 1829, led by local historian Andre Weltman. The tour begins on the Southern Porch of the Mansion. If you require accommodations due to a disability, please notify the park in advance, and services for the deaf or hard of hearing can be arranged with at least seven days’ notice. For questions or assistance, reach out to Angela at 717-486-7174 or via email at pinegrovefurnaceeeprograms@pa.gov.
Next, enjoy a Storywalk along the scenic White Oaks trail in the Kings Gap Hollow Area, where you can read "Thomas Jefferson and the Mammoth Hunt" by Carrie Clickard. Make sure to sign the guestbook during your visit!
