June: Observatory Private Star Party

Private access to a whole starport at the observatory and all that the night sky has to offer is available to your family or group. During this one-hour cosmic experience, staff astronomers will guide you in views of planets, the Moon, galaxies, nebulae, and star clusters through the observatory’s vast collection of telescopes. All observatory guests, including members, must reserve timed tickets in advance, online. Know Before You Go: This is an outdoor experience in a dark environment. Please dress in warm layers and shoes. No open containers are allowed in the observatory. Insect repellent is highly recommended from May through September. SNCO Members Ticket reservations must be made in advance online by logging in before checkout. Member reservations cannot exceed membership size. For help, email observatory@snco.org. Ticket Cancellation Policy No refunds, credits, or exchanges will be issued for canceled or unused tickets, late or missed entry, or on the basis of weather with less than 48 hours before program start time, unless contacted by SNCO prior to your reservation. All private star parties subject to a $25 cancellation fee if cancelled more than 48 hours before event start time.
