The Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory (SNCO) is a non-profit organization dedicated to inspiring environmental stewardship through nature education and scientific discovery. Situated on eight acres, it offers immersive experiences with Central Oregon's ecosystems, native plants, and wildlife. SNCO features interpretive exhibits, live animal habitats, a botanical garden, and nature trails. Its observatory, one of the largest publicly accessible in the nation, provides opportunities for night sky exploration with numerous telescopes, as well as daytime solar viewing. The organization's mission is rooted in conservation and curiosity, offering programs for all ages and serving as a key educational resource.
