Music has always been an important part of patriotic celebrations in America. In 1976, the Northwestern Singers & Friends in Austin performed a special concert in honor of our nation’s Bicentennial. They even recorded a special album to commemorate the anniversary. Join us as local historian & musician, Wendy Larson explores the history of how America Sings!
Join the Historical Society as Mower County Celebrates the Semiquincentennial.
This FREE event, sponsored by the Mower County Historical Society, will be in the Pioneer Building. Everyone is invited to “Bring your lunch AND bring a friend,” to learn about history in a relaxing environment during the middle of the day. Doors open at 11:30
