The John McIntire Library, the central hub of the Muskingum County Library System, is located at 220 N. Fifth St. in Zanesville, Ohio. Operating on an adjusted schedule, the facility is open Monday through Thursday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Friday from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM, and Saturday from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM (closed Sundays).
The main building is undergoing a massive multi-million dollar renovation. While construction is underway, the library remains open, operating out of a smaller space on the first floor of the Carnegie Wing.
