Intro to the Laser Cutter

Join us for the "Intro to the Laser Cutter" class, where you'll learn to operate the incredible 100-watt CO2 laser cutter, a key tool for prototyping and customization! This hands-on session covers the machine's operation, design creation, and setup procedures. Participants will receive a comprehensive class book with instructions and tips for future use, whether as a member or with a day pass.

We will also introduce the software, LightBurn, for design and code preparation. Discover the various materials the laser can cut, including ¼” plywood, acrylics, cardstock, fabrics, EVA foam, and non-PVC plastics, as well as its engraving capabilities on glass, rubber, and black-painted metals.
