Details:
Join us for a unique event at Fort Washington Library that combines learning and connection through two enriching programs. First, participate in our Social Emotional Storytime, designed for children aged 5 and under with caregivers. This session, led by a children's mental health specialist from the Emma L. Bowen Community Service Center, will use stories and songs to explore healthy ways to express feelings and enhance Social and Emotional Learning (SEL).
Following this, adults are invited to our We Speak NYC English Conversation Group. No registration is needed for this in-person class, which is open to learners aged 16 and older (not in High School). This program, inspired by the Emmy Award-winning TV show, provides a relaxed environment for intermediate and advanced English speakers to practice conversational skills through stories about everyday situations, such as visiting a doctor or communicating with a child's teacher.
