Join us to learn about and practice mindfulness meditation, and explore ideas about how to incorporate it into our daily lives. Each session includes a short reading, mindfulness practice, journaling and discussion. Possible topics are mindful breathing, walking/movement, eating, awareness of thoughts and emotions. All levels of experience are welcome! Bernadette C. Smith, M. Ed., has been meditating for more than 30 years and teaching mindfulness to all ages for 15 years. Registration required. Adults 18+. This program fulfills PA Forwards Health Literacy: The ability to make informed decisions about physical, mental, emotional, or spiritual health for yourself and others in your care.
