On My Own Storytime

In this independent storytime for ages 3–5, kids join the fun on their own while grown-ups wait just outside. Through stories, songs, and simple activities, children build confidence, practice being apart from caregivers, and learn early classroom skills like listening and taking turns.
We encourage caregivers to talk with their child ahead of time so they know they’ll be attending independently and can feel prepared for this big step!
Space is limited in this program. Please stop at the Children's Desk to pick up a name tag to secure your child's spot. Name tags will be available starting 30 minutes before the program.
