Details:
Have you ever wanted to hold a tiny pizza in the palm of your hand? In this beginner-friendly workshop, participants will explore shape, texture, and color creating their own miniature food sculptures using air dry clay and simple sculpting tools. All materials will be provided. This program is for children ages 8+. Please register for this program as space and supplies are limited. Our instructor, Annie Wong is a Bay Area artist and creative workshop facilitator specializing in playful, hands-on experiences that help people reconnect with imagination and self-expression. She's best known for her stop motion animation work as Headexplodie, with collaborations including The New York Times, Adult Swim, and The Greater Good Science Center. Library staff may take photos, videos, or audio recordings at our events. Please tell us if you do not wish to be photographed, video-recorded, or audio-recorded. We will always respect your requests! An ASL (American Sign Language) interpreter or closed captioning can be provided for this program if requested at least seven (7) days in advance. For assistance, please contact your library or accessibility@aclibrary.org .
