Rick Hirsch Quartet brings a soulful, hard-grooving night of jazz to Pine Grove Hall, exploring the music of Horace Silver, Yusef Lateef, The Beatles, Eddie Harris, Bobby Timmons, and more. Led by saxophonist Rick Hirsch — musical director of Zeropoint, saxophonist with Erin Condo & the Hoofties, and an internationally performed jazz composer — the group features Bob Hart on bass, Kevin Lowe on drums, and Clay Wulbrecht on piano. This performance also marks Clay Wulbrecht’s final local appearance before relocating from the region. A graduate of the renowned jazz studies program at Indiana University and a familiar face on the Central Pennsylvania music scene, Clay has been admired for his versatility, creativity, and deeply expressive playing.
